RESTORING OUR HERITAGE PROJECT
SCHEDULE OF WORKS
NB Due to the recent theft of lead, before embarking on this heritage project the extensively damaged Nave, Chancel and Vestry roofs need to be repaired.
NORTH AND SOUTH AISLE ROOFING
- Substantial repairs to both side aisle roofs to include replacing the timber decking and covering with a BBA approved water-proof membrane and insulation.
- A lath and plaster ceiling.
- Replacement of open drainage channels and flashing.
STAINED GLASS WINDOW
- Specialist cleaning of leaded windows and repair as detailed on survey
- Replacement of polycarbonate sheeting to protect windows from weather damage and vandalism
ACCESS TO CHURCH
- The path to the Church from the car park to be re-laid and made more user friendly especially for elderly church goers, wheel chair users and pushchairs.
- Drainage and access to the car park to be improved by resurfacing and installation of drainage channels
