Maybe you’ve heard Hope 2008 mentioned or seen the logo and wondered what it meant. Hope is a nationwide Christian mission initiative that began in 2008 aiming to “unite the whole church for the whole nation; to do more, do it together and do it in word and deed”. It’s about churches of different denominations working together, and in partnership with Hope, in projects and events involving prayer, social justice, community action and evangelism. Unlike some one-size-fits-all approach to mission, Hope relies on locally organised initiatives that will benefit from nationally coordinated resources.
